The role of Consultant Anaesthetist:

Our client is seeking a Consultant Anaesthetist, who is ready to join a team of dedicated clinicians striving for excellence.

You will be part of a state-of-the-art anaesthetic team delivering cutting edge anaesthetic techniques to allow patients to be discharged same day, safely.

You will have pride in the quality of your work, be well-versed and involved in clinical governance, audit and be a good team player who is ready to be flexible and willing to meet the needs of the service and colleagues. Quality improvement is seen as an important factor and our Client welcomes innovation and enthusiasm in developing a high-quality service for their patients. They pride themselves in striving for excellence and innovation and are developing day-case for major pathways, as well as trialling and introducing new procedures, so want only the best Anaesthetists who enjoy working in an innovative environment.

What you will bring to the role:-

With a current registration with the GMC’s specialist register of anaesthetics you’ll have several years’ experience practicing as a Consultant Anaesthetist, at least 2 of which must be within the UK. As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you are committed to your own continuing medical education and professional development.

Quality improvement is seen as an important factor as our client prides themselves in striving for excellence and innovation and are developing day-case major arthroplasty pathways, adherence to GIRFT ideals as well as trialling and introducing new implants.

Our client believes in supporting each other and sharing best practice and you would be expected to become an integral part of their team of consultants led by the Medical Director, Hospital Director and Senior leadership management team as well as attending meetings and contributing to teaching of their centre staff.
