About the Role
We’re looking for a creative, highly aesthetic, and detail-oriented Fashion Accessories Designer with a strong track record in designing physical consumer products – especially in fashion and accessories (jewellery, watches & bags). You’ll lead the creative and technical design process for jewellery as well as for our new product lines including watches, bags etc.
This role is perfect for a designer who can balance trend forecasting, beautiful visuals, and technical feasibility. You’ll work closely with our founders, design freelancers, and manufacturing partners from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities
Product Concept & Design
- Design high-quality, trend-led jewellery & watch collections that resonate with our audience.
- Create mood boards, sketches, 2D/3D visuals, and CADs to communicate your ideas.
- Ensure each product aligns with the brand aesthetic and our customer values.
- Have the chance to work on design for other accessories such as bags, hair accessories etc.
Sampling & Development
- Prepare clear tech packs and communicate directly with manufacturers.
- Oversee sample development, ensuring accurate execution of designs.
- Suggest and test materials, sizes, and hardware options based on cost, durability, and customer experience.
Trend Research & Innovation
- Stay ahead of fashion and lifestyle trends relevant to our customer.
- Propose innovative ideas that help our brand stand out in a competitive space.
- Contribute ideas for seasonal launches, gift campaigns, and limited editions.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with the content and e-commerce team to support launch campaigns with storytelling and visuals.
- Work with our paid media and email team to ensure product photography and angles support marketing needs.
- Coordinate with sourcing agents or product managers as needed.
(Optional) Print & Pattern Design
- Design custom patterns or artwork for bags, swimwear, or packaging where needed.
Desired Qualities
- 3+ years of product design experience, ideally in fashion accessories, jewellery, bags, or watches.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your creative process and finished products.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and/or CAD software like Rhino, Fusion 360, or similar.
- Excellent understanding of product development and materials used in accessories.
- Experience preparing detailed tech packs and communicating with overseas manufacturers.
- Great taste, an eye for color, balance, and silhouette.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage timelines independently.
- Bonus: Print or textile design experience.
