About the Role

Join Panda Waste at our Wolverhampton depot (WV1 2HS) and drive for a cleaner, greener future. We are looking for a reliable, professional driver for a Hooklift with ADR experience.

Pay & Perks

  • Payrate: £16.22
  • Overtime: 1.5 after 45h
  • Early Start Bonus: £10.00 extra per day (for starts before 04:30)
  • Daily Bonus Potential: Up to £13.00 per day (£65 per week)
  • Allowances: £3.00 daily meal allowance (+ £26.50 per night if night work is required)

Schedule

  • Status: Full-Time, Permanent
  • Hours: Monday – Friday (Occasional Saturdays)
  • Shift Times: Typical window between 05:00 and 17:00
  • Stability: Consistent routes and a supportive local team

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating Hooklift vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and compliance reporting.
  • Maintaining digital tacho records and clear communication with the depot.

Requirements

  • Licence: Valid UK HGV Class 1 & Driver CPC.
  • Tacho: Current Digital Tachograph card.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional driving.
  • Insurance: Must be aged 25+ for insurance purposes.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Wolverhampton and surrounding areas.
  • ADR licence
