We’re looking for a safety-focused Banksman to help manage vehicle movements at our busy Widnes site. As a Banksman, you’ll work closely with drivers, weighbridge operators and site teams to ensure vehicles move safely and efficiently around the yard. This is a hands-on, outdoor role suited to someone who communicates clearly, stays alert and is confident working in a busy operational environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Safely control vehicle movements throughout the yard
  • Give clear instructions and signals to drivers
  • Communicate with weighbridge operators and operational teams
  • Ensure first-time visitors complete the required site induction
  • Monitor compliance with site operating times and traffic rules
  • Report drivers who fail to follow movement instructions
  • Ensure PPE requirements are followed
  • Keep the yard clear of debris, obstacles and potential hazards
  • Arrange cleaning support when required
  • Assist other site teams when needed

About You

  • Have strong communication skills
