About the Role

We are seeking to hire a Weighbridge Operator (30 hours per week) for our Widnes site. This is a key role in the coordination of both incoming and outgoing waste for the site, and you will work with a range of internal staff and external third parties recording accurate information and entering it into the appropriate system(s).

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating our Weighbridge using AMCS (training provided)
  • Ensuring vehicle details and weights are entered accurately
  • Communicating effectively with the Yard Operations team using 2‑way radio
  • Ensuring full compliance on incoming and outgoing waste transfer notes
  • Checking waste carriers licences using the national register
  • Liaising with the Commercial team
