About the Role

Location: Leeds/Bradford

Position: Permanent, Full-Time (Guaranteed Hours)

Earnings: £16.50/hr basic | £24.75/hr Overtime

OTE: £44,616 (Based on a 48‑hour working week, 52 weeks)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Vehicle Operation: Safely and efficiently operate HGV Class 2 skip and RoRo vehicles.
  • Site Deliveries: Deliver, exchange, and collect containers across various local customer sites.
  • Compliance & Tech: Complete daily vehicle checks, report defects promptly, and use digital handheld/tablet systems for job records.
  • Safety First: Work safely at all times, strictly following site, transport, and road regulations.
  • Customer Service: Act as the face of the company, providing a professional and friendly service on‑site.

What We’re Looking For

  • Essential Requirement: A valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence, up‑to‑date Driver CPC, and a Digital Tachograph card.
  • Previous experience driving skips, RoRo, hookloaders, or similar vehicles is highly preferred.
  • A solid understanding of driver compliance, EU hours, and daily defect checks.
  • A reliable, professional approach with uncompromising safety standards.
  • Good communication skills and a practical, customer‑focused attitude.
  • Flexibility to support operational needs, including varied shifts where required.
