  • Completing service, inspection and repair documentation accurately
  • Providing photographic evidence and clear records to support completed work
  • Liaising with the Operations Manager and technical support teams to resolve engineering issues
  • Taking ownership of customer equipment issues and helping minimise downtime
  • Supporting customers with basic machine operator training
  • Helping customers understand safe operating procedures and technical requirements
  • Planning your daily workload to maximise customer service and reduce unnecessary travel
  • Working safely at all times and following customer site rules and safety requirements

About You

  • The ability to work with minimal supervision
  • A practical, disciplined and organised approach to work
  • Good communication skills and a professional approach with customers
  • Strong attention to detail when completing service records and reports

Experience working on waste handling equipment, compactors, balers or similar machinery would be ideal, but we’re also open to people from associated industries with transferable engineering skills.

Qualifications and Knowledge

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • A City & Guilds qualification, or equivalent, in electrical or mechanical engineering
