About the Role
At Panda, we keep the country moving by delivering reliable waste and recycling services that support local communities and businesses. We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our Bradford team, operating skip and RoRo vehicles across the local area. This is a hands-on role for a driver who takes pride in safe driving, good customer service, and keeping their vehicle to a high standard.
What you’ll be doing:
- Operating HGV Class 2 skip and RoRo vehicles safely and efficiently
- Delivering, exchanging and collecting containers across customer sites
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly
- Using handheld or tablet-based systems to complete job and vehicle records
- Working safely at all times and following site, transport and road regulations
- Providing a professional and helpful service to customers on site
- Supporting the wider transport and depot team as needed
What we’re looking for:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- Previous experience driving skip, RoRo, hookloader or similar vehicles is preferred
- Good understanding of driver compliance, vehicle safety and daily defect checks
- A reliable, professional approach with strong safety standards
- Good communication skills and a practical, customer-focused attitude
- Flexibility to support operational needs, including varied shifts where required
