About the Role

We have opportunities for both Trade Waste and Skip drivers. Enjoy consistent Monday–Friday shifts, with a 15-minute paid break and the option to earn extra via overtime.

  • Trade Waste: Starts at 5 am, finishing between 1 pm – 2:30 pm.
  • Skips: Starts at 6 am, finishing between 4 pm – 4:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles for Trade Waste or Skip collections.
  • Plan efficient routes to maximise productivity and minimise environmental impact.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring sites are tidy and bins/skips are correctly positioned.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
  • Adhere to waste duty of care regulations, drivers’ hours, and health/safety standards.

Essential Requirements

  • Valid UK Class 2 licence + current Driver CPC.
  • Digital tachograph card.
  • Previous experience in waste sector operations (Trade or Skip experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of environmental compliance and safety.
  • Customer-focused communication skills.
  • Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
