We’re working in conjunction with Cloudclevr, one of the UK’s leading IT and Managed Service Providers, on a structured hiring project to build out their sales development team in Wakefield.
About Cloudclevr:
Cloudclevr is a next-generation managed services business bringing together cloud, IT, connectivity, communications and security under one unified brand. Built through the integration of multiple established technology businesses, they are backed by an industry specific strategic investment group. Cloudclevr works with organisations across the UK to simplify complex IT environments and deliver outcome-led solutions. They are entering an accelerated growth phase due to investment and their increased service and product offerings. Their focus is now on strengthening their direct sales function; to build a modern, scalable commercial engine to support continued expansion, market penetration and selling across boundaries.
You’ll be working alongside a sales leader who is well known in the industry for developing early-career sales talent, within a supportive and agile sales team that is genuinely invested in your success.
The Role:
The SDR role plays a direct part in revenue generation, owning the early stages of the sales cycle and feeding qualified opportunities into the wider sales team. Your contribution is visible, measurable and directly rewarded. This role is designed as a genuine entry point into B2B sales, your success will be internally championed through a structured training plan, mentor and a supportive manager who is invested in your long term success in sales. You can expect clear earning mechanics, responsibility and a development plan built to help you succeed rather than being left to figure things out yourself. All you need to bring is hard work, determination and the curiosity to learn.
Salary and Earnings:
- Base salary: £28,000
- Paid per meeting booked
- Percentage of gross profit on deals that convert from meetings you generate
- On-target earnings sit at around £15,000 on top of base, with upside as performance improves. Commission is uncapped and clearly structured.
Development & Training:
As part of this hiring project, Beaumont's Sales Academy is heavily invested in your continued success. Through this, you will work with an industry-specific sales trainer delivering in-person training on site, alongside structured workshops designed to help you hone your skills and build the foundations to become a fully fledged sales consultant within Cloudclevr. This training is practical, commercially focused and designed to support long-term progression rather than generic B2B sales theory. You will be supported with a clear development plan, ongoing coaching and the tools needed to perform and progress internally.
Who this role is aimed at:
This position suits people early in their career who want to build something long-term in sales. Common backgrounds include graduates, call centre or customer-facing sales roles, and individuals with competitive or sporting backgrounds. No prior cloud or technology experience is required. Attitude, coachability and work ethic matter far more than what is on your CV.
Progression:
High performers will have a clear pathway into Business Development or Account Development roles. This is not a static SDR position and is designed as a pathway to develop people internally as the business continues to grow.
Assessment and start timeline:
- Assessment Day: 29th January
- Projected Start Date: 2nd March
