We're looking for an IT Project Manager who genuinely understands MSP delivery. This is a business that moves fast, delivers serious IT projects for its customers, and needs someone who can keep pace. Our client needs someone who understands that in an MSP, every decision has a commercial implication; scope, risk, and cost are always connected.
You’ll own IT project delivery end-to-end across a varied portfolio: infrastructure, cloud, migrations, and more. The immediate need is simple: take the planning, coordination, and stakeholder management off the engineers’ plates so the technical team can focus on technical work. You’ll work closely with a small, experienced team and have real ownership of what you deliver.
Unlike a lot of the market, this isn’t a take our tech stack and cram it into another business approach. Solutions are bespoke, often meaning you’ll have to co‑coordinate with vendors you’ve never worked with or multiple departments with various levels of wobbly plates.
Please be aware that this role requires 5 days on site in Central Newcastle Upon Tyne.
What we’re looking for:
- 2–5 years in IT project management or coordination, with MSP or IT services experience
- Commercially minded, you understand that in a services business, every decision has a cost attached
- Confident managing multiple projects across different workstreams simultaneously
- Open to learning an established way of working, while being able to suggest sensible improvements
- Comfortable in a small, fast-moving business where you won't be siloed
