The Opportunity
One of the UK’s fastest-growing Managed Service Providers (MSP) is seeking hungry, driven Business Development Managers for their expanding South West team. This is a true new business sales role, selling across their full solutions portfolio – including IT services, Unified Comms, Cybersecurity, Connectivity, and Cloud to SME and Mid-Market clients. You’ll join a high-performing, high-growth business with a market-leading commission structure (20% comms on self-gen deals), genuine career progression, and best-in-class enablement/support.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Driving new logo acquisition: generating, qualifying and closing new business across voice/data, IT, cyber, and connectivity
- Managing the full 360 sales cycle, supported by industry-leading lead-gen/SDR resource and sales enablement
- Working consultatively: solution-led, qualifying needs, building and presenting value props, involving product specialists as required
- Handover and collaborate with Customer Engagement & Account Teams for renewals/cross-sell
Your Background
- Strong new business sales record in B2B (MSP, telecoms, IT reseller, comms provider or similar B2B environment)
- Capable of identifying, qualifying, and closing deals; able to build pipeline independently
- Consultative, not transactional. Can translate business needs into solutions, not just pitch products
- Experience winning new logos, not just managing inherited accounts
- Happy to be field-based with regular client meetings, some office presence, 1-2 days WFH after onboarding
- Ambitious, self-motivated and coachable – you take ownership of your desk
- Based between or in Exeter, Bristol, Cardiff or in the South West.
