We are partnering with a leading global Pharma company in the recruitment of an experienced Supply Planner on a FTC through to 2026….
We are looking for experienced Supply Chain Planners from either a Pharma, FMCG or Food background, for an exciting opportunity within a leading pharmaceutical business.
This opportunity is an FTC and will run through to Q1 2026.
If you have experience in managing the movement and replenishment of SKU\’s, working within a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality control in a regulated set up, then we are keen to speak with you.
This is an exciting time to be a part of an established team, to support their European and Global operations.
Our client is situated on the English/Scottish border and offer flexible hybrid working of 1 day a week in the office as a minimum requirement.
Job Purpose:
Execution and control of supply chain activity for assigned product portfolio, providing specialist product knowledge to the business with regard to manufacture, supply, planning, scheduling and compliance.
- Master scheduling, inventory and procurement responsibility for assigned product portfolio.
- Inventory procurement responsibility up to £50,000 approved financial limit.
- Ownership of the short/medium-term supply plan for a portfolio of products and accountability for ensuring that they operate within healthy supply parameters and deliver continuity of supply in the most efficient manner possible.
- Performance monitoring, KPI management and escalation for assigned Contract Manufacturing Organisations
- Maintenance of GxP records for assigned product portfolio
- Primary point of contact for all affiliate & partner communication regarding product supply for their portfolio
- Liaison with Technical, Logistics, Artwork and Shared Services teams for assigned product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demand analysis
- Requirements planning & inventory management
- Create, amend and transact inventory purchase orders in ERP system. Manage purchase order confirmations and CMO order book
- Responsible for implementing approved artwork changes into CMO operations.
- KPI tracking and performance management
- Inventory procurement and purchase order management
- Input to Supply Review Meetings and Sales & Operations Planning processes
- Responding to affiliate, partner, pre-wholesaler or customer enquiries and needs
