Looking for experienced Procurement professionals for an exciting opportunity with a world-renowned leader in the FM space. We are working with a global leader in the Facilities Management sector, who are looking for an experienced procurement professional to manage all procurement activity for one of their largest central Government clients. You will be the procurement representative to support the client with all strategic sourcing, supplier management and delivery across major FM, Capital Projects and Construction spend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement robust contracting to ensure full and compliant contracts are in place for identified suppliers working closely with the Legal and Supply Chain & Procurement teams.
  • Work closely with Operational Teams to ensure Scope of works are aligned to technical competence and client expectations.
  • Lead the successful completion of all necessary flow downs for suppliers into the account, ensuring all compliance, assurance requirements are met.
  • Act as the link between the Supply Chain, Procurement Business Partner, Legal and wider stakeholder groups to ensure task remains aligned and on track.
  • Continue to meet all supplier assurance requirements including contractual governance is in place.
  • Demonstrate ability to work at pace and efficient workload management.
  • Drives Contract Management & Risk Mitigation – minimising operational, contractual and financial exposure by ensuring and securing complete and favourable contractual terms & conditions for all contracted agreements.

Professional and personal competencies/qualifications:

  • Extensive and proven experience in Procurement typically 5+ years. Ideally with FM or Construction category knowledge, however other Indirects will be considered.
  • Experience in negotiating and drafting contract clauses.
  • Comfortable with negotiations and collaboration.
  • Degree educational background preferred.
  • Professional certification CIPS preferable.
  • Strong business acumen, with demonstrable contracting experience to achieve best in class.
  • Exceptional communicator with the ability to connect with a diverse group of stakeholders, at multiple levels.
  • Strong change management capability with demonstrable results.
  • Supplier Relationship Management experience.
  • Knowledge of Public Sector an advantage.

This role will be based at our clients offices in Surrey, and will require 3 days a week in the office. Only candidates with RTW in the UK can be considered.
