Category Manager - Operational Assets and Services | South Coast | Hybrid ~ A great role for a Senior Buyer/ Category Manager who is looking for an opportunity to progress within an established Commercial function.
Previous PCR/UCR experience needed….
Our client is a major organisation in the Utilities/Engineering/Infrastructure industry.
They are going through a busy and exciting time of growth, and are looking to grow their team.
You will be responsible for Supporting on all associated commercial activities to achieve value creation and minimise total cost of ownership, including executing the full sourcing lifecycle and delivering against procurement and value management strategies.
You will work with the Senior Category Manager as well as collaboratively with business leads to deliver category specific strategies, including sourcing and contracting.
Category Management experience (establishing category strategies) and previous experience in a Public Sector or Utilities environment is required.
Knowledge of the public procurement act or a CIPS qualification would be a plus.
Ability to demonstrate a proactive/can do style of work and a Continuous improvement mind-set are a must!
Hybrid with 2/3 days a week on site.
