We are looking for a commercially astute Strategic Sourcing Manager to shape and deliver high‑value procurement strategies across a complex, regulated environment for a major infrastructure client.
Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end procurement activity for high‑value, complex contracts (often £100 m+).
- Develop and implement category strategies aligned to business priorities and market conditions.
- Drive cost savings, efficiency improvements, and supply‑chain innovation.
- Manage supplier relationships and support long‑term performance and value delivery.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across project delivery, finance, legal, and operations.
- Ensure full compliance with governance, regulatory, and procurement processes.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in strategic sourcing or category management within complex environments.
- Proven track record managing large‑scale procurement and supplier negotiations.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, high‑value setting.
- MCIPS (or working towards) preferred.
- NEC contract experience and complex infrastructure project experience would be advantageous.
Regular travel to the London office (once per week) and to other sites every 4–6 weeks.
