We are partnering with a leading Financial Services organisation to recruit a Procurement Analyst to join their established Procurement team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in procurement, supplier management, and sourcing within a highly regulated and professional environment.
Working closely with Procurement Specialists and key business stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in supporting sourcing activities, supplier onboarding, contract management, third-party risk processes, and procurement operations. The role offers broad exposure across procurement, supplier governance, commercial negotiations, and stakeholder engagement, making it an ideal next step for an ambitious procurement professional.
Key Responsibilities:- Support sourcing exercises and negotiations with low-risk suppliers, identifying opportunities to deliver value and cost efficiencies.
- Act as a first point of contact for procurement-related queries from stakeholders across the business.
- Manage the procurement inbox and coordinate responses to supplier and business requests.
- Facilitate new supplier onboarding and maintain supplier records and databases.
- Support supplier due diligence and third-party risk assessment processes.
- Assist Procurement Specialists with sourcing events, supplier management activities, and contract administration.
- Review and manage contracts across a range of low-risk categories, including events, learning and development, charities, memberships, and professional services.
- Support contract performance reviews and supplier relationship management activities.
- Maintain procurement documentation, reporting, and internal communications, including the procurement intranet page.
- Provide support for procurement processes within Workday and collaborate with Accounts Payable and wider business functions.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and support commercial decision-making.
- Previous experience within procurement, purchasing, supplier management, or a commercial support role.
- Experience working within a corporate or multinational organisation.
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of supplier and contract management principles.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Confidence communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using Workday is essential, with exposure to Workday Strategic Sourcing desirable.
- CIPS Level 3 qualification (or currently studying towards it), or equivalent procurement experience.
- Experience supporting supplier negotiations and commercial discussions.
- Exposure to procurement governance, supplier due diligence, or third-party risk management.
- Experience within financial services, insurance, or another regulated industry.
- Hybrid working arrangement with a Central London office location.
- Exposure to a broad range of procurement and supplier management activities.
