Truly exciting opportunity with a rapidly growing food company. We are looking for an experienced Sourcing Manager to join this ambitious company and help them on their journey. This really is a great opportunity to join an ambitious group of people who are truly passionate about their business and its future.
Responsibilities
- You will need to be passionate about relationships, identifying new suppliers and building long term partnerships across UK, Europe and globally.
- You will have experience across a range of categories (Dairy, bakery, meat, ambient etc) and will have established relationships with supplier contacts.
- You will be commercially minded – great with numbers and negotiations.
- A number of years (10+) experience in food procurement is an absolute must; you will have the relevant contacts and connections in place.
- Take ownership for a group of key suppliers and juggle multiple projects, working with technical teams to launch new products to the market.
- Experience of working with small and large suppliers globally, and managing those relationships.
- A passion for food, NPD and launching new products.
- Remote working but some European travel will be required.
- A full, clean UK driving licence is needed.
