An exciting opportunity for an experienced Category Manager to join one of the UK's largest and most significant infrastructure programmes. Experience across rent, rates and leases preferred. This role sits within a high-performing Procurement function supporting a major nationally important project during a critical phase of growth and delivery.

You will take ownership of procurement strategy across the Property category and related indirect spend areas, leading end-to-end sourcing, commercial negotiations, contract management, and supplier performance activity. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will ensure commercially robust, compliant, and value-driven outcomes across a complex operational environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering category strategies
  • Leading complex tendering and procurement activities
  • Managing supplier relationships and contract performance
  • Providing commercial guidance to internal stakeholders
  • Supporting and developing junior procurement colleagues

We are looking for someone with:

  • Strong procurement and commercial management experience
  • Proven success managing Property or Professional Services categories
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Knowledge of contract governance, risk, and supplier management
  • MCIPS qualification (preferred)
