A great opportunity for an ambitious procurement professional to support the growth of a greenfield procurement function within an exciting and innovative organisation… We are excited to be partnering with a world class innovation and research centre as they embark on an exciting growth journey. The Buyer is a newly created position within a greenfield Procurement, which will support the Head of Procurement and wider team in delivering first class procurement activity and develop robust systems and processes across the group. You will take responsibility across the procurement process, owning the PO-Req cycle, supporting supplier onboarding, monitoring procurement systems. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders. This a great opportunity for someone who has an ambitious mindset, can work in an agile environment and would be excited by the appeal of a greenfield team and support the growth and development of the function, with their experience and skill set. Our client has huge growth plans for the next 3 years, with a new state of the art campus under construction, head count growth from the hundreds to the thousands by 2027. So, it really is an exciting time to get on board within this innovative and pioneering research organisation.
