About The Role

As a Care Assistant you will be:

  • Delivering quality personal care to each of our residents, supporting them with daily activities such as washing, dressing, eating and maintaining personal hygiene.
  • Understanding our resident’s communication needs and adapting your communication.
  • Supporting the individuals and their families, offering confidence and reassurance.
  • Being a team player who works well with others, a natural easy communicator, patient and understanding with the flexibility to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Having good observation skills, a sense of humour and a positive outlook.

You may have no experience as a Care Assistant so we offer full training and development – you may have worked in a retail, supermarket, customer service, warehouse or other people-focused environments or just returning to work.

The working shift patterns on a rota over seven days:

  • 8.00am - 8.00pm
  • 8.00am - 2.00pm
  • 2.00pm - 8.00pm
  • 8.00pm - 8.00am

As well as visiting dog therapists and other animals, intergenerational activities are encouraged involving local nurseries and schools. Our team of healthcare professionals and the safe, comfortable accommodation at Beaumont Care Homes support people living with dementia, whilst also providing nursing care along with other specialist care services. We can also offer respite care in our homes. We want people to join Beaumont Care who wish to work with older and vulnerable people.
