We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our school on a part time basis, working three afternoons per week term time only + INSET days. This role may be suitable to combine with one of our other vacancies.

We are looking for someone who:

  • is enthusiastic and motivated
  • is able to establish caring and supportive relationships with children
  • can communicate effectively with both adults and children
  • can support children in the classroom setting as well as during small group work and on an individual basis where needed
  • can provide learning activities for classes and deliver lessons, under the professional direction and supervision of a qualified teacher
  • can provide whole class cover.
