We are looking for an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) to join our school on a part-time basis, working 17.5hrs per week, term time only + INSET days.

We are looking for someone who:

  • is enthusiastic and motivated
  • is able to establish caring and supportive relationships with children
  • can communicate effectively with both adults and children
  • assists in the support and inclusion of all pupils
  • can develop learning activities/programmes for individual pupils or groups of pupils
  • can deliver lessons set by or with teachers or the SENDCo under the professional direction and supervision of a qualified teacher
  • is able to plan and deliver specialist programmes for individual pupils or small groups of pupils, to develop their emotional literacy drawing upon the training and supervision from Educational Psychologists
