Brixton, London Hybrid working model (3 days+ in office per week). The UK's law firms, accountancies, banks and corporate finance houses rely on private company intelligence to find clients, win mandates and deliver advice. We've spent 15 years building the data and analysis product they trust. Hundreds of these firms already rely on us, and there's a lot of untapped value still sitting in those accounts. We're looking for a Senior Account Manager to keep our biggest financial and professional services clients with us for the long haul, and grow what they do with us.
About Beauhurst: We're building the leading provider of private company data and analysis in Europe. Private companies represent 80% of private sector employment and over 90% of revenues across Europe. They are the engine of innovation and the source of most of the jobs and tax receipts in the economy. Yet for anyone trying to find, track or understand them, the data is a mess: outdated, inconsistent, scattered across thousands of sources, and impossible to verify by hand at any meaningful scale. We've spent 15 years fixing this. We use custom-built data extraction tools and pipelines, proprietary AI, and a team of 60+ in-house analysts to identify, extract and verify data from thousands of sources, covering 20 million companies, 24 million people, 232,000 transactions, and 1,000+ new news articles a day. Our platform, API, and consultancy services are trusted by our clients to enable them to make better decisions, drive revenue, reduce risk, and save time. Founded in 2010, we cover every company in the UK, Germany and Ireland, and work with over 500 organisations across venture capital, major financial institutions, corporates, law firms, leading universities, and the Government. We're not stopping here: we're continuing to scale across Europe.
The Role: Financial and professional services is one of our most important markets. You'll own a book of our largest clients in this space: law firms, accountancies, advisers, banks, corporate finance houses and wealth managers. These firms use Beauhurst to find, win, and retain clients, deliver on mandates, and understand the markets they advise on. Most of these clients start with one team. Your job is to make sure that team gets real value, then take Beauhurst across the rest of the firm: other offices, practice groups, and service lines within these organisations, and new products like our API and consultancy. You'll be working with partners, heads of BD and deal teams, so you'll need to be credible in their world and comfortable talking about how they win work.
- Retaining our biggest clients: owning the contract renewals of your book, negotiating high-value renewals and pitching forward-looking multi-year deals.
- Growing accounts: mapping each firm for expansion and landing cross-sells and upsells into new teams, offices and products.
- Building relationships across the firm: multi-threading beyond your day-to-day users to partners, heads of BD and budget holders.
- Setting account strategy: working with key decision-makers to understand their growth goals and building realistic account plans to hit them.
- Working with Client Experience: partnering with our Client Experience team so every user is trained, active, and getting value.
- Shaping how we sell: contributing to internal projects on pricing, packaging and our playbook, and helping develop the wider Account Management team.
About you: As a minimum, you'll have:
- 2+ years managing your own book of clients, with targets for both retention and growth.
- Experience account managing law firms, accountancies, banks, corporate finance houses or wealth managers, ideally in a SaaS, data or information services business.
- A track record of hitting or beating commercial targets, including renewing and expanding accounts worth £30k+ a year.
- A strong academic track record.
The traits that matter most:
- Intelligent: we sell a complex product with lots of use cases; you learn fast and want to understand how each firm operates and makes money.
- Commercially sharp: you can spot where the next deal is in an account and build a credible case for it with senior buyers.
- A natural relationship-builder: emotionally intelligent, a great listener, and someone who adds value in every interaction before making an ask.
- Coachable and resilient: you actively seek out feedback, bounce back fast and always go after the target.
Our offer: We're offering a competitive starting salary plus commission on your retention and growth targets. We also invest a lot in keeping our people happy and healthy. So as well as your salary, you'll also get:
- A stake in the company: A generous options scheme for all employees, so you can share in the value and growth of the company that you help enable.
- Healthcare: Our health cash plan will cover all of your day-to-day health and wellness needs, including medication, tests, scans, dental, and physio.
- Free therapy: Sessions with any of our hand-picked counsellors, all on us.
- Professional development: You drive your own development – if there's a book, training course, or event that would help your professional development, bring it to us and we'll foot the bill.
- Events: Company-wide parties and away days, drinks every Friday, and regular team socials.
- Subsidised travel: Season ticket loans, free railcards, and a cycle to work scheme.
- Clubs: Whether you enjoy reading, padel, bouldering or biscuits there will be a subsidised club for you.
