We are currently recruiting a HR Business Partner to join our People Team on a six-month fixed term contract.

This role advises on HR policy and assists with implementation of HR procedures and processes.

Working directly with leadership to develop and direct an HR agenda that closely supports Beaufort's business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Advice, Policy and Compliance
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures and employment-related matters.
  • Ensure consistent and compliant application of HR processes across the business.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR frameworks and tools.
  • Employee Relations and Case Management
  • Manage complex ER matters, including grievances, investigations, capability and absence cases.
  • Support managers with sensitive employee matters and appropriate action planning.
  • Coordinate responses to legal or contentious employment-related cases where required.
  • Business Partnering and Organisational Support
  • Partner with managers and leaders to support business objectives and people priorities.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and provide practical HR solutions.
  • Support workforce planning, organisational change and employee lifecycle activity.
  • Payroll, Compensation And Benefits
  • Support the accurate processing of payroll changes, ensuring deadlines and controls are met.
  • Administer compensation and benefits processes, including salary changes, allowances and benefit schemes.
  • Work with relevant teams to resolve payroll, reward or benefits queries.
  • HR Data, Systems and Reporting
  • Use HR data and insights to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and support effective use of HR systems.
  • Produce reports and analysis to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Culture, Engagement and Continuous Improvement
  • Promote company values, inclusion, employee wellbeing and a positive working environment.
  • Support engagement initiatives and actions that improve employee experience.
  • Contribute to process improvements and maintain professional knowledge through ongoing development.

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

  • Strong generalist HR experience
  • Confident managing complex employee relations cases
  • CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
  • Proven HR experience
  • Good knowledge of employment law, policy and compliance
  • Able to use HR data to support decision-making
