Salary: £57,750 per annum, plus generous bonuses (up to £25,000)

Hours: 40 per week, Mon–Fri, with rostered out of hours and emergency on-call duties

About the Role

You will:

  • Lead and manage a 3-bedded Children's Home in line with Ofsted regulatory and organisational requirements
  • Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, welfare, and child-centred practice
  • Develop personalised care and development plans to meet children's individual needs
  • Promote therapeutic, trusting relationships between children, their families and the team
  • Advocate for children and embed trauma-informed best practice
  • Recruit, train, lead and develop your team
  • Build positive relationships with internal teams, external agencies and key stakeholders
  • Provide operational leadership, guidance and coaching to your team
  • Oversee HR matters, attend meetings and maintain compliance with safer recruitment and relevant policies

About You

You will have:

  • At least 2 years' managerial experience within children's residential care
  • Ideally qualified to Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards) or a minimum of Level 4 in Children & Young People (residential childcare)
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted and Children's Homes Regulations
  • Proven team leadership experience
  • A professional, positive and supportive approach to role-modelling best practice and team development
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Undertake the Ofsted 'fit persons' interview if successful
