The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

As a Support Worker with Beaufort Support Services, you'll play a hands-on role in the lives of young people aged 16+. Our homes run 24/7, offering semi-independent living in a safe, supportive and uplifting environment. You'll be helping young people build the confidence, stability and practical skills they need for adulthood. Please note, there is a substantial lone-working requirement with this role, including overnight.

What You'll Do

  • Support a small group of young people in the home, preparing them for adulthood, both emotionally and practically.
  • Help them build essential life skills - budgeting, cooking, cleaning and confidence.
  • Motivate the young people in 'future thinking', including their education, job applications, interviews, and personal goal-setting.
  • Create and deliver personalised support plans that champion their strengths and ambitions.
  • Model positive behaviour and set consistent, fair boundaries.
  • Work alongside your team, social workers, colleges, families and other professionals.
  • Keep our homes safe, welcoming and compliant in line with regulations.
  • Maintain good routines in housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Ensure safeguarding is prioritised and acted on immediately.
  • Be observant and responsive to changes in young people and the world around them.
  • Keep clear, accurate records using IT systems.
  • Be a role model young people can trust, rely on and learn from.
  • Demonstrate resilience to work in an emotionally rewarding but sometimes challenging environment.
