Beaudesert Park School, a leading co‑educational prep school in the Cotswolds, has recently merged with Rugby School Group. The School is now looking for an exceptional Director of Operations to join its Senior Leadership Team and lead the operational, financial and commercial functions of this thriving independent school.

Role Overview

The Director of Operations will work closely with the Headmaster and the Rugby School Group Chief Operating Officer to ensure the smooth day‑to‑day running of the School while shaping its long‑term future. This role offers the autonomy of managing operations within a single school while being supported by specialists across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic and operational leadership across finance and commercial management
  • Estates, facilities and capital projects management
  • Health and safety and regulatory compliance oversight
  • Catering, administration and support services coordination
  • Operational planning and organisational development
  • Contributing to the wider strategic direction of the School as a Senior Leadership Team member

Qualifications & Experience

  • Senior leadership experience in operations, business management or a similar role
  • Strong commercial and financial awareness
  • Experience managing complex operations, projects or estates
  • Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, parents and external partners
  • Experience within education is welcome but not essential
