Beauchamp College in Oadby, Leicestershire is the founding school within the successful and growing Lionheart Educational Trust. Our exciting curriculum offers an extensive range of subjects, where learning does not just happen in the classroom. Mathematics is extremely popular with over four hundred students choosing to study Mathematics at Key Stage 5. Our established track record is built on a collegiate approach, a desire for self-improvement, a good sense of humor and a positive attitude towards change. Our Mathematics Faculty is a committed and passionate team with over twenty teachers, a HLTA and the guidance of the Trust Director of Mathematics. We also have dedicated classrooms and staffroom in the heart of the college. Staff teach across the whole range of courses and attainment levels.
At Key Stage 3 our curriculum embeds the principles of teaching for depth in Mathematics. At Key Stage 4 we offer Functional Maths Level 1 and 2, GCSE Mathematics, Level 2 Certificate in Further Mathematics and GCSE Statistics; at Key Stage 5, Core Maths, A level and Further Mathematics. Beauchamp is excited to be leading one of the thirty-four national Maths Hubs across England, promoting maths school-to-school support and leadership in the East Midlands region. Our staff have access to new and initiative ways to teach Mathematics. We pride ourselves in ensuring all our students develop academically as well as holistically.
