JOB OVERVIEW

Sir Jonathan North Girls' College is an outstanding secondary school in Leicester which is constantly growing and looking to improve. We are seeking an administrator with overall responsibility for First Aid and administrative support around first aid and SEND, who has ideally worked within a busy school or health care setting. The ideal candidate should have good customer service, ICT and communication skills. We are seeking an individual who is well-organised, efficient, flexible, calm, friendly, motivated and passionate about providing an excellent support service to our children, staff and visitors. Continuous training will be given to further enhance your development within the College.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

This is a key post within the College which requires dedication and a highly efficient and responsible approach. It requires providing first call, first aid and all first aid and other administrative duties. The post therefore, calls for the ability to work on one’s own, to use judgement and initiative. The ability to remain calm and controlled under the pressure of working in a very demanding and constantly changing environment is essential.

YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Experience working with young people or in a health care setting.
  • The ability to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to communicate on a professional basis.
  • GCSE’s (or equivalent), to include English and Maths at a minimum grade C or equivalent.

HOURS OF WORK AND PAY SCALE

Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week 39 weeks of the year (term time plus 1 week)

Salary: Leicestershire County Council Grade 6, Pay Points 9-10 Actual Salary (£22,235.00 to £22,589.00)

Responsible to: Office Manager
