Beau Property Group is a design‑led property development business based in Tunbridge Wells. We build, restore, and stage homes across the South East, and we care a lot about doing things well. Over the last couple of years we've been building AI seriously into the way we work, and it's changing how we operate across planning, finance, site management, marketing, and client communications. We're now looking for someone to come in and own that effort with us.

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for someone who has a strong desire to problem solve and learn. This isn't a traditional tech role. There's no legacy system to maintain and no defined playbook to follow. What there is, is a business full of smart people solving real problems every day, and a genuine opportunity to help them do it faster and better using AI tools that most businesses haven't even started thinking about yet.

You'll report directly to the Managing Director and work across all three divisions of the business. On any given week that might mean:

  • Sitting with a team member to understand a problem they're wrestling with, then working out whether AI can solve it and building something that does
  • Setting up and connecting tools so that repetitive tasks happen automatically
  • Training colleagues on new workflows and making sure things actually get adopted, not just installed
  • Jumping between projects as priorities shift, bringing the same problem‑solving mindset to a planning query one morning and a client communication workflow the next
  • Thinking through several different ways to approach a challenge before committing to one, and being honest about the trade‑offs

The work is varied by design. You'll need to be comfortable with that.

What You Can Bring

We're looking for someone with strong academic credentials in a relevant technical subject. A degree, Master's, or PhD in AI, machine learning, computer science, mathematics, physics, or theoretical physics would be a great starting point. That said, don't be put off if your background doesn't fit that description exactly. If you have solid computer skills, a genuine drive to learn, and the instinct to apply that learning to real problems, we want to hear from you.

You’ll need to have an interest in applying AI, agentic techniques and automated workflows to real‑world problems in a fast‑paced commercial environment.

We'd be particularly interested if you have experience with any of the following:

  • Experience working across multiple AI platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Grok
  • Prompt engineering and agentic workflows
  • Python
  • An interest in property, construction, or business more broadly would go a long way too.

The best ideas here come from people who understand what the business is actually trying to achieve, not just how the tools work. You should be comfortable working across a small team, shifting between tasks without losing focus, and explaining technical ideas to people who aren't technical. Patience and clarity matter as much as capability.

What We Can Offer

The base salary starts from £28,000, but this role is designed to reward output. Commission is paid on completed elements of work, meaning the right person has a genuine opportunity to earn well above the base.

You'll have a seat at the table in a business that's growing, and a role that will develop as quickly as you do. Real exposure to how a property development company works, from land acquisition and planning through to sales and handover, and you'll be working directly with the people making decisions. There's no ceiling on what this role becomes for the right person.

The role is based full‑time at our offices in Tunbridge Wells.
