Beatson's Building Supplies is one of Scotland's largest independent Builders Merchants. We trade as Beatson's Building Supplies but also have two Orchard Timber Product branches and have three other trading divisions of Beatson's Direct our eCommerce business, Beatson's Concrete our ready-mix concrete business and Skyline Roofing Supplies our specialist roofing merchant business. We employ around 160 people across our 8 sites in Alloa, Cumbernauld, Dunfermline, Penicuik, Forfar, Livingston, Errol & Stirling.

An opportunity has arisen for a full-time Driver to join our team in Alloa. Working as part of a team, and reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out multi-drop deliveries of building materials to businesses and private properties throughout central Scotland.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Drive the vehicle safely in accordance with the law.
  • Report damages, safety issues, accidents, or any other significant problems to the Group Transport Manager.
  • Overseeing the loading of the vehicle with yard assistants so that products are safely loaded and correct against the customers' orders.
  • Ensure that the arrival and delivery of the goods is safe and respect the customer's property.
  • Check goods off with customer and complete the necessary company paperwork.
