We trade as Beatson's Building Supplies but also have two Orchard Timber Product branches and have three other trading divisions of Beatson's Direct our eCommerce business, Beatson's Concrete our ready-mix concrete business and Skyline Roofing Supplies our specialist roofing merchant business. We employ around 160 people across our 8 sites in Alloa, Cumbernauld, Dunfermline, Penicuik, Forfar, Livingston, Errol & Stirling.
An opportunity has arisen for a full-time Driver to join our team in Alloa. Working as part of a team, and reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out multi-drop deliveries of building materials to businesses and private properties throughout central Scotland.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Drive the vehicle safely in accordance with the law.
- Report damages, safety issues, accidents, or any other significant problems to the Group Transport Manager.
- Overseeing the loading of the vehicle with yard assistants so that products are safely loaded and correct against the customers' orders.
- Ensure that the arrival and delivery of the goods is safe and respect the customer's property.
- Check goods off with customer and complete the necessary company paperwork.
