Job Title:Mould Shop General Operative
Responsible to:Mould Shop Manager
Reporting positions:N/A
Location:Rotherham
Shift Pattern:Double days (Mornings and Afternoons rotating, Monday-Friday)
Main Areas of Responsibility
- General mould shop duties to include:-
- Collecting mould equipment from the shop floor.
- Supplying mould equipment to the shop floor.
- Cleaning mould equipment.
- Putting mould equipment sets away in mould store after use.
- Maintaining a clean working area.
- Loading and unloading mould equipment deliveries.
- Maintain exceptional housekeeping within the Mould shop.
- Any other reasonable duties as requested within skill set.
Person Specification
- No previous glass industry knowledge or skills required but advantageous.
- Must hold valid fork truck license or willing to train.
- Good standard of numeracy and literacy
- Motivated and professional with a desire to achieve results with a commercial and customer focus
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and delegate
- Self-resilient and capable of making difficult decisions
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Have basic problem solving ability
- Promotes and is passionate about the values and standards of the business.
