We are looking for a confident Senior Brand + Motion Designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, delivering smart, agile, and impactful designs across brand marketing, social content, and digital platforms. A passion for music, particularly electronic music, is a plus.
This role is especially suited to a designer with strong brand instincts and motion expertise - someone who can create distinctive, culture-led creative across campaigns, social, and digital touch points, while helping evolve how Beatport shows up visually across its ecosystem.
As a Senior Brand + Motion Designer you will be responsible for:
- Take ownership of multimedia design and execution, experimenting with branding, digital design, animation, and video across various work streams and platforms.
- Use multimedia design skills to experiment with visual language, bringing fresh ideas and concepts to your work.
- Create visual designs that effectively communicate key concepts while adhering to established brand identity, including screen layouts, colour palettes, interface elements, iconography, typography, and style guides.
- Monitor and adapt design approaches based on current industry trends and technology, ensuring designs are innovative and on-brand.
- Develop design solutions that engage the audience and differentiate from competitors.
- Understand the creative vision of the department and contribute to overall concepts.
- Stay responsive to fluctuating business workloads, managing multiple projects and ensuring timely delivery.
- Support brand communications across various channels, keeping business objectives and brand consistency in mind.
- Ensure projects are executed on time and within deadlines, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Design with a systems-first mindset, building scalable components that ensure consistency across the Beatport platform.
- Collaborate with departments such as Marketing, Social Media, and Media, ensuring alignment and smooth project execution.
As a Senior Motion + Brand Designer you will need:
- 7+ proven experience in a digital design role with a strong portfolio showcasing creativity and innovation.
- Proficiency in Figma, After Effects and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); and Figma Buzz is a bonus.
- Exceptional visual aesthetic, with excellent layout and typography skills.
- Strong understanding of social media design trends, particularly across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Knowledge of the types of content that perform well and are widely shared on social media.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to pitch and sell design ideas to internal teams.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and willing to explore new design methods and approaches.
- Solid understanding of campaign development and execution.
- Strong interest in music, tech, and staying ahead of trends in both industries.
- Experience creating and executing marketing assets that adhere to brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all touch points.
