The Job Responsibilities include:

  • Provide general and routine technical support for installation, patching, configuration, and updates to virtual infrastructure, requiring research, analysis, and problem resolution to meet performance metrics.
  • Maintain documented procedures, such as Disaster Recovery plans, for OS Infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with team members, software vendors, and technical staff to develop, design, implement, and improve systems.
  • Be available on-call and work 24Γ—7 shifts.
  • Coordinate with team members and other groups to support Windows Server and daily operations.
  • Follow procedures to install, patch, configure, troubleshoot, upgrade, and maintain systems, software, network configurations, firewalls, and peripherals.

Preferred Skills:

  • Manage day-to-day 24Γ—7 Data Center Operations, including cloud hosting services like AWS, Azure, IBM Softlayer.
  • Total IT experience of 12-15 years, with at least 8 years in Data Center Operations and Cloud Administration.
  • Improve workflows and throughput for Data Center Operations.
  • Possess a Master’s degree in Data Center and Cloud Operations.
  • Ensure operational KPIs and metrics are met.
  • Drive automation and innovation in Data Center and Cloud services.
  • Maintain high service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage large-scale Data Center events.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for issue escalations.
  • Manage vendors and monitor performance.
  • Ensure Data Center compliance with security policies.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot server hardware across multiple vendors, including servers, storage, routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of Windows, Linux/Unix, Networking, and Storage systems.
  • Hold certifications such as Windows 2012 MCSE or Linux/UNIX, and cloud certifications like AWS.
  • ITIL certification.
  • Experience in change and incident management.
  • Data analysis skills and security awareness.
  • Network certifications like CCNP or Network+.
  • Experience with storage systems.
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
  • Strong communication, decision-making, conflict management, coaching, project management, and people management skills.
  • Experience in planning upgrades and patching, and scripting.
