Video Producer (with 3+ years experience)

Twickenham (4 days in office, 1 day from home)

Video Producer Role: Responsible for devising, producing and editing sector-leading video content for our clients.

Our video team: This is your chance to join a small but talented team, redefining how sports content is created and consumed, contributing to creative, innovative video output that drives views and revenue for our clients. You will find innovative ways to tell the stories that matter on behalf of our clients in an ever-changing digital landscape.

The role: You will play a critical role in delivering our new multi-platform video strategy. Your time will be spent producing/planning shoots, on-location filming and editing. You will act as cover to run the video team in the absence of the Head of Video Production and Senior Video Producer, and possess a ‘can-do’ attitude to solve video challenges set by our clients.The role is five days per week, some weekend work will be required (time given back in-lieu). The role requires you to work from our office in Twickenham four days a week, with one work from home day. Normal office hours are 09:30 - 18:00.

Responsibilities:

  • Production management: Deliver end-to-end video production, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest creative and technical standards.
  • Production: Shoot, edit and deliver brilliant video content packages for use across platforms devices (web and social media).
  • Editorial support: Where required, provide editorial input on the subject matter of the video content being produced.
  • Equipment management: Be part of the team responsible for the maintenance and care of Sportsbeat’s production equipment.
  • Rights & licensing management: Manage content rights, licensing agreements, and intellectual property issues, ensuring that all video content complies with legal standards and maximises monetisation opportunities.
  • Cross-platform execution: Work with the creative and syndication teams to ensure video content is optimised for digital platforms, including social media, streaming, and web-based outlets.
  • Industry knowledge: Stay ahead of the curve with the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in video production, ensuring that the brand remains competitive and compliant.
  • Advocate for video: Work with other internal teams to drive video growth & success, ensuring video is used as effectively as possible to enhance Sportsbeat’s output and reputation

What we’re looking for from you:

  • Experienced video producer: Possess good knowledge of video production, planning, and execution for a sports organisation or sports agency.
  • Exceptional client management: Play a role in shaping video discussions with clients, managing their expectations carefully and tactfully.
  • Technical proficiency: Experience of self-shooting (Sony FX6 experience preferred), lighting set-ups & editing on Premiere Pro is essential (Minimum 3+ years experience), photography and/or After Effects experience would be a bonus. Possess a good knowledge of video equipment and software, ensuring our output is always delivered to a high standard.
  • Project management: Experience in managing shoots to deliver excellent video output on time, and on budget.
  • Digital enthusiast: Constantly look at the latest trends in video across web and social media, pushing your team and other colleagues to improve standards and deliver exceptional work.
  • Problem solver: Act quickly and decisively to fix issues that arise to ensure team operations run smoothly.
  • Be a team player: Put the needs of our clients first while being a collaborative colleague that strives to deliver excellent video output to grow the profile and reputation of the department.
