Role Purpose
We are looking for a creative, fast‑paced, and detail‑oriented Social Media Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day management of our social channels. This is a hands‑on, execution‑focused role, ideal for someone who thrives in a reactive, trend‑driven environment and can turn around engaging content quickly. You will be responsible for publishing content, writing compelling social copy, editing short‑form video and ensuring our channels remain active, relevant, and aligned with brand voice. There is also an opportunity to support live content capture at events, bringing real‑time storytelling to life. You will work across leading sports brands and rights holders including Team GB, Team England, British Athletics, Premiership Women’s Rugby, Netball Super League, Horse Racing Ireland and The FA.
What You Will Do
- Manage and maintain client social media platforms
- Schedule, publish and monitor daily content
- Write engaging, platform‑specific social copy
- Maintain consistent posting cadence and quality
- Manage content calendars
- Own day‑to‑day client communication where required
Content Creation & Editing
- Execute quick‑turnaround edits of short‑form video
- Adapt existing assets into social‑first formats
- Collaborate with internal teams on content ideas
- Support both reactive and planned content output
Trend Monitoring & Reactive Content
- Stay up to date with emerging social trends
- Rapidly ideate and produce reactive content
- Leverage trending formats and conversations
Publishing & Performance
- Monitor performance and engagement metrics
- Support reporting on growth and performance
Event Content Capture
- Attend live sporting events and activations
- Capture behind‑the‑scenes content and interviews
- Edit and publish in near real‑time
