Role Purpose
We are looking for a Content and Data Insight Strategist to help us understand, measure and amplify the performance of our content across social media, web and our syndication network. You will turn audience data into clear, actionable insight that drives smarter decisions for our editorial, social, video and commercial teams. This is an ideal second or third step for someone who wants to build a career at the intersection of sport, content and data strategy.
What You Will Do
- Data and Audience Insight
- Analyse performance data across web, social and syndication
- Identify audience trends and platform behaviours
- Build and maintain dashboards and structured datasets
- Reporting and Strategy
- Produce weekly, monthly and campaign performance reports
- Translate complex data into simple, insight-led narratives
- Support pitch responses, proposals and measurement frameworks
- Operational Improvement
- Provide insight to support campaign planning and optimisation
- Highlight opportunities to improve reach, engagement and efficiency
- Evaluate content, syndication output and editorial performance
- Collaboration and Influence
- Work closely with editorial, social, video and commercial teams
- Feed insights into brainstorms and creative development
- Share platform and audience trends across the business
- Market and Landscape Understanding
- Track sports, digital and audience trends
- Stay across platform updates, new formats and emerging tools
What We Are Looking For
- Core Skills and Experience
- Two to three years’ experience in insight, analytics or audience roles (or exceptional entry-level)
- Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Experience with analytics platforms (GA4, native social analytics etc)
- Ability to interpret data, spot patterns and communicate clearly
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- A genuine passion for sport, storytelling and audience behaviour
- Good to Have
- Experience working with rights holders, sports organisations or content agencies
- Knowledge of campaign measurement, ROI reporting or partnership evaluation
