We are recruiting for a Production Planner to join a well-established manufacturing business in Rugby. This is a key role within the operation, helping to keep production running smoothly, materials in place, and customer deadlines on track.

The role:

  • Planning and scheduling production activity
  • Coordinating jobs to meet customer deadlines
  • Working closely with production, stores, and purchasing
  • Monitoring material availability and production capacity
  • Updating planning systems and production schedules
  • Helping to reduce delays, improve workflow, and keep the shop floor running efficiently

What we need:

  • Previous experience as a Production Planner, Manufacturing Planner, or similar
  • Experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Good organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and work to deadlines
  • Confident communicator who can work across departments
  • Good IT skills and experience using planning, ERP, or MRP systems
