This is a rare opportunity for a skilled press brake setter to join a specialist Leicester manufacturer offering genuine progression into SolidWorks/CAD work. You’ll start in a hands-on folding role, but for the right person, the long-term aim is to develop you into a more technical position involving drawings, programming and CAD support.

The Role
- Setting and operating Amada press brake machines
- Folding sheet metal components to engineering drawings
- Producing varied, bespoke and project-based work
- Checking your own work using measuring equipment
- Working to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
- Supporting the wider manufacturing team when required
As you develop, there is scope to get involved with:
- SolidWorks/CAD
- Drawing interpretation and amendments
- Programming support
- Technical planning
- Laser cutting support, if you have or want to build experience in this area
What We’re Looking For
- Experience setting and operating press brake machines
- Strong folding experience
- Ability to read engineering drawings
