We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner Setter/Operator to join a well-established engineering company in Leicester. This is a permanent, full-time role working either days or nights, with a strong hourly rate, a 4-day week, and long-term stability in a busy manufacturing environment. If you have experience setting and operating CNC lathes, this could be a great opportunity.
The Role:
- Setting and operating CNC turning machines
- Producing parts to drawing and required tolerances
- Making offsets and basic adjustments
- Inspecting parts using measuring equipment
- Working to quality and production targets
- Keeping your area clean, safe, and organised
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience as a CNC Turner Setter/Operator
- Ability to set and operate CNC lathes
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Experience using measuring equipment
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and hard-working attitude
- Experience with Mazak Quick Turn lathes would be an advantage
Hours: Day Shift Monday to Thursday 07:00 – 17:15, Night Shift Monday to Thursday 18:00 – 06:00
Pay:
- £15.00 per hour
- £2.00 per hour night shift allowance
