Are you a skilled Fabricator/Welder looking for a long-term role where your work actually matters? We are working with a well-established engineering business that has recently relocated to Melton Mowbray and is now looking to grow their team.

They are offering a secure position for experienced Fabricator/Welders who want to work on proper, hands-on fabrication not just repetitive production welding. If you have experience in MIG welding, can read drawings, and enjoy varied work, this could be exactly what you’re after.

This is a Monday to Friday day shift with overtime available at enhanced rates.

The Role - Fabricator/Welder
  • Fabrication and welding of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
  • MIG welding as standard (TIG welding a bonus but not essential)
  • Working from engineering drawings to build bespoke and structural fabrications
  • Use of cutting, folding, drilling and general fabrication equipment
  • Day shift hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm, Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm

You’ll be joining a well-equipped workshop with a solid team and varied projects. This Fabricator/Welder role would suit someone who enjoys precision work and takes pride in building something that lasts.

What You’ll Need
  • Previous experience as a Fabricator/Welder in a workshop environment
  • Confident MIG welding skills; TIG welding experience is useful but not essential
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings
  • Proactive attitude and strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
