Rugby Up to Β£50,000 Permanent Full-Time
We\βre looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead the operations of a busy vehicle manufacturing workshop in Rugby. You\βll oversee production planning, health & safety, stock control, and preventative maintenance all while supporting a skilled team of fabricators, fitters, welders, commercial bodybuilders and sprayers.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone from a fabrication, commercial vehicle, or bodybuilding background who thrives in a practical environment and enjoys solving problems on the go.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage day-to-day workshop operations
Oversee production schedules, stock levels, and maintenance planning
Ensure health & safety and quality standards are met
Liaise with engineering to ensure smooth builds
Open and close the site, monitor output, and remove production bottlenecks
Support and motivate the production team to meet deadlines and targets

Previous experience as a Production Manager in manufacturing or vehicle build
Strong knowledge of welding, fabrication, and ideally bodybuilding or spraying
Experience with PPM schedules, stock control, and workshop supervision
