Beartown Brewery - On Site | Temporary Contract | Part Time
We're looking for a highly organised and proactive individual to join our team on a temporary basis, covering a period of maternity leave. Potential for a permanent contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-loved independent brewery at an exciting time in our growth.
The Role
You'll be at the heart of our day-to-day operations, keeping things running smoothly across order processing, administration, customer communications, and accounts support. You'll also play a key role in helping us develop our use of AI tools - both in terms of data input and identifying ways AI can support and grow our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and managing orders through Brewman, including credits, ullages, empties, and stock adjustments
- Handling customer and trade enquiries via phone and email
- Adding and managing orders for key accounts including website sales, click and collect, and nationwide deliveries
- Supporting the accounts team with data input, Sage, and general finance admin
- Managing APC shipments and coordinating with the warehouse team on packaging days
- Updating the website stock and back office, including voucher codes and refunds
- Engaging with customers on social media - replying to comments and messages on Instagram and Facebook
- Data input and organisation to support the development of our AI systems
- Working with AI tools to identify efficiencies and opportunities to grow this side of the business
What We're Looking For
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Confident communicator - both written and verbal
- Experience with or a keen interest in AI tools and their business applications
- Comfortable working with data and picking up new systems quickly
- A team player who can support across operations and accounts
- Previous experience in a similar admin, operations, or accounts support role would be an advantage
- Experience with Brewman or Sage is a bonus but not essential - full training will be provided
