We are actively seeking a Manager to join our Supply Chain and Operations Team. The Opportunity
As a Manager within the Operations team at BearingPoint UK, you will be at the core of leading and delivering projects for our national and international clients. You will have the opportunity to be part of genuinely transformational supply chain projects, working for major global clients. Being part of our Operations team offers you the chance to be a key part of our incredibly diverse range of projects, from designing the global network for an international manufacturer, building planning tools for household name UK retailers, and automating large scale distribution centres. Our consultants are at the heart of solving complex problems and delivering meaningful client results. Our projects range from strategy, through design, to implementation and go-live. As a Manager, you will be expected to lead and shape the delivery of such projects to enable clients to understand and deliver better value from their data.
Who and what are we looking for?
We are looking for talented individuals with a passion for solving complex supply chain problems. As well as having core technical skills and supply chain knowledge you should be proactive, confident, and adaptable. As most of our projects rely on data, it is core to the role that the successful candidate can handle and analyse large datasets. Where required, the data will be used to model different scenarios using a mixture of bespoke and industry tools. You will have prior Supply Chain knowledge across distribution operations, design and implementation and will be able to draw from this experience in supporting the development of client solutions.
Skills Required
- Substantial experience in Supply Chain industry or supply chain consultancy
- Proven ability in supply chain strategy and implementation
- Knowledgeable of key Supply Chain management concepts
- Subject matter expertise in at least one Supply Chain area e.g. Planning, Transport, Logistics, Network Design
- Experience in managing projects or projects workstreams
- Experience in conducting and leading analysis or modelling in Excel and / or SQL
- Proven analytical capability data analytics and visualisation tools
- Confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders
