Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Consultant and Consultant to join our growing health sector team to help strengthen our delivery capability, accelerate our growth and play a leadership role. In this role, you will:

  • Work in a multidisciplinary consulting team to support client engagement and project delivery
  • Apply analytical skills to deliver client objectives, impactful, and actionable insights for the benefit of NHS and healthcare systems, using healthcare data, and models to drive improvement
  • Prepare dashboards, presentations, and reports to effectively communicate your insights
  • Assist in the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities
  • Share responsibility for the development of the healthcare data analytics team within BearingPoint

We have expertise from strategy, through to delivery and a large focus on change through technology. In particular, we have an exciting partnership with Microsoft, leveraging their technologies, including Microsoft Copilot and AI-driven solutions to drive real change and impact in the health sector.

We Are Seeking Someone With

  • Health Sector Expertise: with a background in NHS and consulting experience preferred
  • Commercial Acumen: helping us to identify growth opportunities and shape winning proposals and propositions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: builds trusted relationships with senior NHS and health sector leaders.

Skills

Given the varied nature of our work we are open to meeting candidates with different backgrounds and expertise, however we are particularly interested in candidates with health data analytics skills, such as:

  • 2-3+ years of experience in an analytical role in the healthcare sector (within consulting or a similar environment) with knowledge of NHS systems and processes and familiarity with healthcare datasets
  • Experience with or the ability and willingness to learn programming languages such as R/Python, querying languages such as SQL, standard BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau, and cloud services such as Microsoft Azure
  • Expert knowledge of the full suite of healthcare data tools, systems and platforms and ability to drive insight and action.
  • Knowledge of advanced analytical processes (e.g., simulation) and statistical methods (e.g., predictive modelling)
  • Knowledge of qualitative research methods (e.g., interviews, surveys)
  • Familiar with information governance and data security policies, procedures, and standards
  • Experience with agile ways of working
  • A degree or MSc in a quantitative discipline (e.g., mathematics, statistics, economics) or demonstratable experience
