BearingPoint Capital is seeking Consultants to join our global M&A team in London, specifically within our Technology Due Diligence service. Our client base is rapidly expanding and includes Private Equity firms, family offices, corporates, and strategic investors.

You will join a highly skilled and driven team working on both local and international engagements. We are looking for highâperforming candidates with a passion for technology to support our clients in technology due diligence and techâenabled M&A advisory, distinct from corporate finance or valuation work.

Your primary tasks will include:
- Transaction Execution: Collaborate with private equity and corporate clients on both buyâ and sellâside engagements to deliver technology due diligence, focusing on IT strategy, architecture, infrastructure, and organisational capabilities.
- Product Due Diligence: Support the assessment of product strategy, roadmap, and functional/feature differentiation as part of broader due diligence engagements, helping clients understand product maturity (versus competitors) and alignment with business goals.
- Technology Insight: Develop a deep understanding of IT environments and key drivers of operational excellence to support technologyâfocused due diligence projects.
- Project Management: Support Managers and Senior Management by taking on project management responsibilities across M&A engagements.
- EndâtoâEnd Engagement Delivery: Contribute to the design, planning, and execution of M&A projects, including preâdeal (e.g. technology due diligence, carveâout planning), postâdeal (e.g. integration/separation), and value creation initiatives (e.g. cost optimisation).
- Workstream Ownership: Where appropriate, take ownership of workstreams within crossâfunctional project teams across the technology practice, supporting engagement managers.
- Global Collaboration: Be flexible and available to support global teams on projects that broaden your commercial and technology expertise.
- Client Interaction: Organise and participate in client meetings, assisting with the preparation and delivery of pitches, RFPs, RFIs, and other clientâfacing materials.
- Strategic Contribution: Support the development and execution of BearingPoint's firmâwide M&A strategy, with a focus on technologyârelated initiatives.
- Beyond Due Diligence: Gain exposure to broader M&A technology advisory work, including carveâout and integration support beyond the due diligence phase.
Are you looking to work in an intellectually stimulating and fastâpaced environment, and have the following characteristics and background?
- 2â3 years of relevant and related work experience in an M&A advisor or consulting environment.
- Master's or bachelor's degree preferably in computer science with an outstanding academic record from leading universities.
- A good understanding of information technology including software architectural principles, IT infrastructure, SDLC is required.
- Good command of English language, with experience of delivering highâquality reports and presentations, written and spoken.
- Demonstrated interest in the intersection between M&A, strategy and technology.
- Ability to present confidently to clients and senior leadership.
- Strong analytical and problemâsolving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Fluency in English (European languages desirable).
