Role Overview
We are seeking a Manager / Senior Consultant to join our health sector to help strengthen our delivery capability, accelerate our growth and play a leadership role in our growing team.
This is a really exciting opportunity to lead transformative projects in the NHS and the wider UK health sector.
We have expertise from strategy and operating model, through to delivery (including procurement and cost improvement), and a large focus on change through technology.
In particular, we have an exciting partnership with Microsoft, leveraging their technologies, including Microsoft Copilot and AI-driven solutions to drive real change and impact in the health sector.
In this role, you will manage delivery teams and/or workstreams, navigate complex and senior stakeholder relationships, and ensure successful outcomes for our clients.
- We are seeking someone with
- Deep Health Sector Expertise: with a background in NHS / health sector consulting experience and/or operational delivery experience (c.4-8 years).
- Delivery Leadership: Managing multi-disciplinary teams and/or workstreams and ensuring quality outcomes.
- Commercial Acumen: helping us to identify growth opportunities and shape winning proposals and propositions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: builds trusted relationships with senior health sector leaders.
Given the varied nature of our work we are open to meeting candidates with different backgrounds and expertise, however we would want the individual to bring at least one of the following sets of experiences and skills:
- Operational and performance improvement
- Technology implementation and transformation (delivering AI solutions, Microsoft Copilot agents, and other digital tools and programmes)
- Finance and cost improvement
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership
- Own the delivery of health sector projects and/or workstreams, ensuring scope, quality, and timelines are met throughout the project life cycle.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including technical specialists, to deliver client solutions.
- Apply analytical skills to deliver client objectives, using healthcare data, and models to drive improvement
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
- Stakeholder Management
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and navigate challenging situations effectively.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during project initiation, delivery, and close.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Team Development
- Mentor and support consultants within the wider public sector and health team.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Practice Growth
- Support business development activities, including proposals and client presentations and client relationship building.
- Drive opportunity spotting, insight gathering and intelligence sharing.
- Help shape the health practice by contributing to service offerings and thought leadership.
