Overview
In this Senior Manager role, you drive growth for BearingPoint’s Consumer Goods, Retail & Lifestyle practice by building and converting a strong pipeline. Youlead strategic business development and select delivery initiatives with senior client stakeholders to strengthen relationships and revenue. You shape practical propositions for market needs and work with Directors to expand priority accounts. The role blends growth leadership with hands-on delivery to create measurable impact.

Responsibilities
- Develop and shape new opportunities in CRL with a focus on pipeline conversion
- Leverage personal networks to open doors and build credible pipelines
- Lead client-relevant proposals and move opportunities to contracted work
- Shape propositions around operating models, transformation and commercial excellence
- Collaborate with Directors/Partners to convert priority accounts into sustainable revenue
- Contribute to thought leadership, campaigns and client events
- Lead targeted engagements with senior client stakeholders
- Build trusted senior client relationships and ensure high-quality delivery
- Identify extension opportunities during delivery and convert to follow-on work
- Support CPG market expansion by creating entry points and relevant conversations
- Contribute to practice building through propositions, assets and reusable use cases
- Set a collaborative, commercial and high-quality team tone with proactive contribution
- Coach junior colleagues to build consulting habits and client judgement
Key requirements
- Strong consulting background across strategy, transformation or operating model work
- Proven track record in business development, including creating, shaping and converting opportunities
- Experience opening opportunities through relationships and market relevance
- Leading client-relevant, practical and commercially strong proposals
- Ability to convert conversations into contracted work or meaningful pipeline
- Experience in Consumer Goods and/or Retail with credible senior client conversations
- Comfort with a hybrid growth-and-delivery role and staying close to the work
