The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Procurement Consultant with a strong background and experience in procurement roles.
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge and experience in the IT spend category, having managed complex procurement activities, and proven client engagement capabilities.
Familiarity with procurement systems and category management is essential.
Key Responsibilities Lead projects relating to IT procurement, including category management, cost optimisation and client advisory support on best practices Provide clients with thought leadership and insights as a Subject Matter Expert on IT procurement, such as hardware, software, application management, and telco Effectively lead engagement with clients, stakeholders and suppliers to deliver target outcomes Provide insights and recommendations based on procurement best practices and market trends Work with procurement systems to manage sourcing events, reporting, and supplier performance.
Required Experience & Skills3+years’ experience within a procurement consulting environment, delivering engagements for multiple clients.
Demonstrated track record of leading and managing complex, end‑to‑end procurement initiatives in a consulting context.
Strong breadth and depth of experience advising clients across IT procurement spend categories, including: Software licensing Hardware and infrastructure Cloud services Telecommunications IT professional services Cybersecurity products and services Highly developed client-facing skills, with the ability to build trusted advisor relationships and communicate confidently at stakeholder and senior leadership level.
Hands-on experience using procurement systems and category management frameworks to support client delivery and value creation.
